So I have the Cingular 2125 and I absolutely love it. It does have some quirks every once in a while though. One of the quirks happened today. My phone was in Flight Mode for some unknown reason. I'm reasonably sure I didn't do anything to cause it. Flight Mode means you have no ability to use the phone as a phone because it is not connected to the network. I Googled for a solution and found out there is a rather obscure way to solve this. Hit the power button quickly and release quickly and this will bring up a menu called “Quick List.” You should see an entry that says “Flight mode” or “Flight mode off.” In my case it said “Flight mode” even though it should have said “Flight mode off” since Flight mode was apparently on. Nevertheless I clicked on “Flight mode” then went back to the quick list menu and it said “Flight mode off.” I clicked on “Flight mode off” and this solved the issue.

We just took a ten day cruise to Mexico on a Princess Cruise ship. We had lot's of fun and relaxation and the weather was perfect. The cruise went from San Francisco to Catalina Island to Puerto Vallarta to Mazatlan to Cabo San Lucas and finally to San Diego. Here are some of the many pictures that I took on the trip.

This is Union Square in San Francisco. It's in the middle of tons of cool shopping and people watching. The weather was unusually good while we were there.

This morning there were several deadly bomb blasts on London's transit system. You can read the whole story here:

My thoughts and prayers are with all who were affected by this savage act, and the British government as they deal with this tragety.

I've been listening to this guy's music this morning. I'm incredibly impressed with what he's been able to do with some home equipment. I rarely run across independent music that I like very much. Brad most definately does not suck.

Check him out here:

We just watched the movie Saved! with Mandy Moore and Macaulay Culkin a few days ago. What a horrible movie that was. Yet another attempt by Hollywood to make Christians look like absolute lunatics. I'm surprised there weren't any snake handlers in this movie. There was also the usual message that Christians should tolerate sin.

Big thumbs down on this movie!

I'll be singing at a church in Leavenworth this weekend for Easter. I don't know the name of it but they tell me “it's the only church in Plain.”

It's our 12 year wedding anniversary this weekend as well. We will be staying in a bed and breakfast. It should be lots of fun.
