It's time to start a re-design of this site. Some people have said that it's difficult to find my music so I'm going to make that much easier to find. I'm also going to include a portfolio of my new passion; photography.

I'll be singing at a church in Leavenworth this weekend for Easter. I don't know the name of it but they tell me “it's the only church in Plain.”

It's our 12 year wedding anniversary this weekend as well. We will be staying in a bed and breakfast. It should be lots of fun.

I will be playing guitar and doing some singing at Eastside Foursquare Church in Bothell, Washington this weekend for all of the services.

I'm really enjoying this new Jars of Clay CD called “Who We Are Instead.” The music is very down to earth and cool. It has a strong acoustic feel and highlights one of the great strengths of the band, the vocals. I was actually a little gunshy about purchasing another Jars of Clay CD after the last one that I bought. It was called “If I Left the Zoo .” It eventually grew on me but overall I thought it was a little weird.

In 1998 I recorded a CD. During that time I was doing a lot of traveling to churches and events and people would always ask if I had a CD. Since we saw that there was a need we decided that it was time to record. The first step in recording is to gather your material. My wife Cynthia and I got together and started writing some stuff. I also gathered some material from friends and recorded a couple of songs written by famous people. You can hear the results below.

This CD would not have been possible if it weren't for my awesome Grammy award winning producer Roby Duke. Roby is an incredibly talented musician, songwriter, producer, and father. I was truly blessed with the opportunity to work with him.

My friend Jim was getting married and he wanted to write a song that would be sung at his wedding. He had an idea for some lyrics so we got together and wrote this. He and I both wrote the lyrics and I wrote the music. LISTEN

Cynthia and I wrote this song together. It's about realizing complete surrender to God in the face of life's confusion. LISTEN

He Shall Reign

This song was written by Roby Duke, Gary Verrill, and Doug Murren. I have led some really powerful worship sessions with this annointed song. LISTEN
